Would be very useful. Who can find a windows box anymore. It's a nuisance having to locate one, brush off the dust and start it up, just to access remote view/backup/settings. Still lots of windows boxes at customers places, but that's slowly changing.

When Bad Things Happen, you need to check the video history. That's the whole point of a DVR. I could be anywhere (internet cafe, mobile, other customers, friends house) when I need to do the checking, so web access just really makes sense.
