Mostly fixed in 8.2 / 8.3. Some TRENDnet cameras do not support RTSP streaming.

We have a fair number of workstations setup and it's a bit of a pain to ensure each of them that might need to access the cameras at some point have the remote client installed. If an employee happens to be at a workstation that doesn't have the remote client installed and has a reason to need to check a recent, but past, event in a hurry, they're out of luck right now.

A surprising number of retail stores (even some franchises) are using OS X for their cash registers these days. An OS X client would allow them to have a full-featured client that can run on their register.
I'd be willing to beta test or help out with this.

Depending on how this would be implemented and what it would integrate with, I'd be interested in this. We use Openbravo POS, an open-source POS.
