I'd like to be able to clean up "crap" events, such as me mowing the yard or the sprinkler
watering the yard, so viewing the (potentially) more important stuff is quicker.

But then, I completely understand the need of business customers to NOT have this capability.

With the old software I was using (some linux app who's name escapes me right now) I nearly filled up the hard drive when a street light went on the blink and spiders made night time webs in front of the cameras.

iPad app would be really cool. Silly question, does the iPad and iPhone differ so much that an app written for an iPhone would not work on an iPad?
