This might be an passive infrared sensor or a magnetic contact on a door for instance.
This is a nice feature for triggering event recordings for outside camera's where image motion detection triggers false events in case of wind causing moving shadows etc. Do you have any plans to incorporate compatibility with this feature on the camera?
Carel Burgertag:ideas.bluecherrydvr.com,2008-02-07:Event/112585852012-04-30T11:36:55-07:002012-04-30T11:36:55-07:00Retain FPS settings [is now completed]
cleint should retain the selected fps, for example when a client only has limited bandwidth, full fps can initially kill the connection
Curtis Hall (Bluecherry)tag:ideas.bluecherrydvr.com,2008-02-07:Event/111407622012-04-11T14:06:45-07:002012-04-11T14:06:45-07:00Add a Time variable to motion events.
I agree this is a very important feature. The analog cards provide this time stamp, so that part was easily. Dealing with streams that aren't kind enough to add a OSD for the date / time is something that we need to implement.

I can't promise this will be added before 2.0, as it will require some development thinking time to implement correctly.

Which cameras are you using that aren't providing the date / time? Most of them that I've seen that are sane enough to support RTSP have support for OSD.
